How does it work?

Book with card authorisation

Book online for the dates you need and only pay for your actual hire dates, not the time your gear spends in transit. Pay securely when you book. Your card is saved with Stripe for the damage authorisation shown, but that amount is not charged upfront.

Pickup or delivery

Collect and return in Nelson, or choose nationwide courier delivery (excluding the Chatham Islands). Allow at least three working days so your gear arrives before your hire starts.

Easy return

Repack courier orders securely in their original packaging with the prepaid return ticket, then hand them to the courier on the final day of your hire.

Plan around holidays

You can still book over public holidays, but stores are closed and delivery may take longer. If timing is tight, talk to us. Cancellations may incur a fee. See our Terms.

A VERSATILE PACK FOR FAST, LIGHT ADVENTURES

This 28–30 L lightweight pack is ideal for moving efficiently on the trail or in the backcountry. Designed to balance comfort, stability, and low weight, it suits day hikes, fast-packing, and minimalist overnight trips where freedom of movement matters.

The pack uses a close-to-body carry with running-vest-style shoulder straps to distribute weight comfortably across the chest, shoulders, and back. Breathable materials and airflow-focused back panels help manage heat and moisture during active use, while smart external storage keeps essentials close at hand.

With a streamlined main compartment and flexible closure system, the pack can adapt to varying loads. Stretch mesh pockets and compression features provide quick access to frequently used items and help keep gear stable over uneven terrain.

Breathable back panel and shoulder materials

Top-loading or roll-top main compartment with expandable capacity
